As we review our year together we would love to hear from you what experiences you have had musically over the year, how you have grown and of course what questions you might have to help you over the holidays and into the new Year! 

But before we get into our chat together shall we play a little?

Have you ever explored the Stamitz G Major Concerto?   Movt 3 (Rondo. Allegro) is a wonderful piece of music, also adaptable to playing on its own with piano accompaniment. 

This particular work encapsulates all the techniques we love to display in playing a fun virtuosic performance - single and double tonguing, scales, legato lines and of course brings joy to both the listener and ourselves. 

So let's end the year with joy in our playing  together…

Let's not forget to prepare for our repertoire using our daily practice routine :

• Tone exercises
• Scale practice with various articulations  
• 5th’s and Arpeggios 
• Trills
• Vibrato & what ever you feel needs attention at the moment

And as with all our sessions you are free to choose a piece of your choice to play for the class!
